The NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat Chief Executive Officer, Amb. Dr. Samori Okwiya paid a courtesy call to Amb. Jean Njeri Kamau, Kenya’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and the Permanent Representative to the African Union since January 2021, on February 8, 2022, where they held constructive deliberations on outcomes of the just concluded 35th ordinary Session of the AU Assembly and areas of collaboration in accordance with the outcomes.

Subsequently, Amb. Dr Samori Okwiya updated Amb. Jean Kamau on the upcoming 7th PIDA Week event scheduled for 28th February to 4th March 2022 at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, and lead to site tours on infrastructural projects within the country.
Further, Amb. Jean Kamau assured Amb. Dr Samori Okwiya that the embassy will give its support where possible to see a successful 7th PIDA Week as the event would map Kenya strategically.
The Chief Executive Officer was accompanied by Director, APRM & Governance, Mr. Peter Kimemia, Ag. Director, NEPAD Programmes, Mr. Erick Kiilu and Programme Officer, Ms. Betty Loko.
