Earlier today, the Chief Executive Officer, NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat Amb. Dr. Samori Okwiya paid a visit to the Executive Secretary of Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority, Mr. Justus Omae Nyarandi, to firm up on the commitment of partnership and collaboration to advance the development agenda in Kenya and the entire Eastern Africa region.

The discussions were anchored on the basis of formalising the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat and the Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority.

The MOU will pave way for preparation of a roadmap that will guide the two institutions to work together in relation to the core mandate of NEPAD/APRM Kenya, which serves as an operational coordinating Secretariat on the implementation of AUDA-NEPAD priority programs and the African Peer Review Mechanisms.
