Director General LAPSSET Corridor Development Authority (LCDA) Mr. Stephen Ikua today paid a courtesy call to the Chief Executive Officer NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat Amb. Dr Samori Okwiya.

The NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat and LCDA have a long standing cooperation to see the  operationalisation of a regional LAPSSET body.

The CEO, Amb. Dr Samori Okwiya expressed the Secretariat’s commitment to the coordination of LAPSSET Projects and assured that partnership between the Secretariat and LCDA will build capacity of LAPSSET Corridor towns to manage the urban growth resulting from LAPSSET Corridor investments.

Further, the two affirmed that the partnership will aid the mobilization of funds to projects and boost infrastructure which will in turn promote the country’s economic development by boosting cross-border trad
